Line of Events
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; find out if their relationship can survive their very different lives and the interference of their families. Originally titled “Shiksa”, which is also the last word spoken in the first episode. Adam Brody and Kristen Bell have incredible on-screen chemistry. I really enjoyed this show – it was so much more than I expected. It was easy to watch, relatable, super funny and adorable throughout all 10 episodes. I do wish the episodes were a little longer though – they strayed from the 26-30 minute per episode, but that also made it super easy to watch. I drank it all in one sitting last night. I can’t wait for Netflix to confirm another season. If they don’t get another, I’ll be pissed. There’s a bit left on the shelf, so I need more. I’m already starting my second rewatch of the series.
